A BIM Service Provider in India That Works Like an Extension of Your US Team

Dokteq is a Kochi based BIM company with more than 50 professionals delivering architectural, structural, MEP and scan to BIM services to US firms under ISO 9001:2015 certified processes.

About Dokteq

Why US firms look to BIM service providers in India

India has become one of the main sources of BIM production support for US architecture, engineering and construction firms. The reasons are practical: a large pool of engineers and architects trained in Revit and Navisworks, English as the working language of the industry, and a time difference that lets work continue while US offices are closed.

Cost is part of the picture, but it should not be the only reason. Firms that get lasting value from offshore BIM choose a provider that understands US project delivery, works in their standards, protects their data and communicates clearly. The wrong choice costs more in rework and management time than it saves in hourly rates.

Dokteq is headquartered in Kochi, Kerala, and supports projects in the US, the UK, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Our team of more than 50 BIM professionals covers architectural, structural, MEP, interior and point cloud to BIM work, and our US experience includes healthcare, research, residential and data center projects.

How to evaluate a BIM service provider in India

Use these questions when you compare vendors. They are the same questions we expect US clients to ask us.

  • Do they have verifiable experience on US projects, not just US logos on a slide?
  • Can they work in your Revit template, imperial units and AIA phase deliverables?
  • Is quality control documented, for example under an ISO 9001 certified process?
  • Will you have a named project lead who joins your calls and owns delivery?
  • Do they cover every discipline you need, or will you manage several vendors?
  • Can they work inside your ACC, BIM 360 or SharePoint environment with controlled access?
  • Will they sign an NDA and tell you who on their team can see your files?
  • Will they start with a pilot so you can check quality before committing?

How Dokteq answers those questions

01

US project experience

Our portfolio includes the Banner Health Center in Arizona, the MIT Research Laboratory in Boston and a hyperscale data center, delivered with US conventions and imperial units.

02

Certified quality process

Our processes are certified to ISO 9001:2015. Each submission is checked against a written QA checklist covering model accuracy, worksets, clashes and drawing completeness.

03

One partner, every discipline

Architectural, structural, MEP, interior, scan to BIM, 4D sequencing and 5D estimating are handled by one coordinated team.

04

A named lead for your project

A BIM coordinator owns your project, joins your meetings during the US overlap window and is accountable for every delivery.

05

Your environment, your data

We work inside your Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360 or SharePoint project, sign NDAs on request and limit access to the assigned team.

06

Engagement models that fit

Fixed price packages, hourly support or a dedicated monthly team through BIM staff augmentation, scaled up or down with your pipeline.

What working across time zones looks like

Our office in Kochi works from 9 AM to 6 PM IST. During US daylight saving time that is roughly 11:30 PM to 8:30 AM Eastern and 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM Pacific, which gives your project a full production shift while your office is closed.

In practice, your team issues markups or new information before leaving for the day. Our team picks it up at the start of our day, works through it, and posts updates and questions to your shared project before your morning. For decisions that need a conversation, our coordinator keeps an overlap window early in the US morning.

This rhythm works best with clear inputs and a shared issue log. At kickoff we agree how markups are sent, where questions are recorded and who on your side approves changes, so nothing waits a full day for an answer that could have been given in advance.
